My passion for art reaches beyond the design studio.

I’m an arts education advocate dedicated to strengthening communities. I’ve implemented art programs in public schools that inspire students to find their voice and spark throughout art.

In 2010, I founded Art Outreach in Culver City elementary schools where no prior arts program existed. This program developed classes taught by local artists, hosted community arts days, and fund-raised for credentialed art teachers and high-quality art supplies.

In 2015, I co-created Planting Wonder, a K-5 enrichment program serving students, parents and educators in high poverty communities of Los Angeles. This program offered school-year as well as summer enrichment in art, STEM, and literacy.

The Planting Wonder enrichment program has been transformational in evoking creativity and caring at our school
